2008 Austin Rowing Camp Stats & Henley Results - Camp places 7 boats in Henley Finals

8/12/2008 - Austin Women Finish 2nd in Championship 8+

Capping off an excellent week at Henley, the women's 8+ fought back from a rough start to take 2nd place over Vesper boat club, who were fresh off of wins in the Senior 8+ at Henley and the US Club national championship. Canadians Leander Boat Club took first in the race. In all, the men and women of the Austin Rowing Camp had an excellent 2008 Henley, putting eight boats in the finals. The team made a solid impact and certainly raised awareness and respect of rowing in the south and in Austin. Complete results are below.
