The camp is open to male and coxswains of either gender over the age of 18 seeking an opportunity to push and be pushed by others to excel in rowing.
The target audience is those with collegiate rowing experience in the upper levels of their programs. Varsity or club rowers may both participate. You will be coached by coaches with experience at the national and international level. There are NO NCAA issues involved in training at this camp. It is not sponsored by any university.

While our coaches have collegiate and international experience, there will be no conflicts with anyone currently particpating at a varsity program. High school male and female graduates over the age of 18 with two years experience, meeting the recommended 2k erg standards may participate as well. If you have signed a NLI, you may still participate.

Training will take place six days a week, Monday-Saturday from approx. 6:00-8:00 AM (Practice time will be a bit flexible based on demand). This will enable rowers to maintain employment if desired, and to avoid the heat. It is quite pleasant in the mornings, with calm waters and low winds. Town Lake has been named one of the top 10 rowing bodies of water in the USA.
Training will be a mixture of small boats and big boats, with the ratio to be determined at the camp. There will be optional (but highly recommended) pair rows or other workouts 2-3 times per week. Rowers will have access to Austin Rowing Club's showers/lockers & air-conditioned erg room.
Crews that train regularly or periodically in Austin include ---
The University of Wisconsin, Cornell University, University of Michigan, University of Minnesota, The US Junior Women's National team, among many others.
